Join us for First Year Orientation on Friday, July 11th, 2025—your first step toward an amazing year at Iowa Central! This event is designed to help you explore campus, meet other new students, connect with staff, and get all the info you need for a smooth start this fall. From learning about support services to discovering your new favorite hangout spots, Orientation is your inside scoop on college life!
🎓 Bonus for Automotive, Diesel, and Collision Tech Students: Our July 11th Orientation also doubles as Tool Day for students in the Automotive Collision, Automotive Technology, and Diesel Technology programs. Tool vendors will be set up in the Career Education Building from 12–4 PM, giving you the chance to explore top brands like Snap-On, and more. Many vendors offer student discounts, so this is the perfect time to compare tools and ask questions before making an investment.
💡 Tip: We highly recommend having your financial aid finalized before Tool Day. If you can't attend, please contact our Snap-On Account Manager, Mandy, at Mandy.S.Ounlokham@snapon.com

9:00 AM – Registration @ Triton Café
9:30 AM – Welcome Session
9:45 AM – Meet Your Support Team: Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, TRIO, Health Center, and Student Records
10:10 AM – Session I: Bookstore, Housing, Campus Security, Title IX, Academic Advising, TritonPass, and Student Activities
11:00 AM – Session II:
 • Students: College Success Workshop
 • Parents: Q&A with Campus Staff
11:30 AM – Lunch & Open Houses Begin!
